The school offers adult classes in Ballet, Tap and Body Conditioning

Adult Ballet Exercise Class
This class is suitable for beginners as well as the more experienced dancer and aims to improve posture, coordination, mobility as well as tone and stretch the body.
General Level Wednesday 8:00 - 9:00pm
Adult Tap
Currently there are two levels with the emphasis being on fun and recreation.

Tap shoes are essential and we recommend that you wear casual comfortable clothing.

Body Conditioning
This is a gentle exercise class aimed to engender an overall feeling of well-being.
The content of the class includes a combination of Pilates and Yoga exercises which are
designed to tone and strengthen the body with particular attention paid to core stability.
Emphasis is also given to focusing the mind plus attention to correct breathing.
As the majority of the course is floor work you will need a thick mat, blanket or
towel to lie on and a small flat but firm pillow for your head or you can use a
folded towel. You will need to wear something warm and comfortable enabling free
movement and you can choose to wear non-slip socks or go barefoot.
Once you are familiar with the exercises you can practice them throughout the
course of the week as often as you wish, even if it is simply taking five minutes
out of your busy day to relax and centre the mind and body with the breathing
exercises.

Fees
All adult classes are charged at £7.00 per hour, with block payments of 5 or
6 weeks payable in advance, depending on the length of the term.
